Career of Nenad Nešić
The President of the Democratic People’s Alliance (DNS) and Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina was born in 1978 in Sarajevo. He is married and has two children. He lives in East Sarajevo. At the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, he earned a degree in law. He has been a member of DNS since 2014, and in 2020 he became the president of the party. From 2006 to 2007, he was an intern at the Public Safety Center in East Sarajevo. His career continued in that institution: until 2014, he worked as an inspector of the criminal police. In the period from 2016 to 2020, he held the position of acting director of the Public Enterprise “Roads of the Republika Srpska”.
In the General Elections of 2018, he won a mandate in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In January 2023, he was appointed Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
