The former coach of Sarajevo, Zoran Zekić, was a guest on the Incubator Podcast, where he spoke openly about his mandate at Koševo, the situation in the WWin League BiH and compared Sarajevo and Zrinjski.
Zekic has no reservations described the moment in which it became clear that his stay in Sarajevo was coming to an end.
I apologized when I realized that it was no longer working. At one point it was presented to me that there is no money for the professional staff, no salaries, which is sometimes a reality in sports. But in three days the story changes – for some there is money, for some there is not. I want everyone in the club to be satisfied, and not for someone to receive a salary and someone not. That’s life, that’s sport. We had a great time and I will always be happy to return to Sarajevo, Zekic said.
The host of the show also touched on the fact that Sarajevo is often perceived as a stable clubbut without the continuity of the trophy, to which Zekić offered his opinion.
Last season we couldn’t do more. In Široki Brijeg, they canceled two of our goals for no real reason, in Posušje, Guliashvili was brutally overthrownthe referee looks at VAR and does not award a penalty.
