For some time now, Djokovic has been at the mercy of the media, which is under the baton of Aleksandar Vučić’s regime, which is why the famous tennis player decided to leave Belgrade and move to Athens with his family.
It all started when Djokovic supported the public protests of students against the current government that began after the tragedy in Novi Sad at the beginning of this year.
A few days ago, on the first anniversary of the tragedy in Novi Sad, he publicly announced the names of the victims, and several photos from the protest because of the company, he was the target of fierce criticism from the regime media.
In the center of attention is the editor of tabloid Informer, Dragan Vučićević, who spoke shamefully about one of the best tennis players of all time.
“Now those tent elites got involved, starting with that failed tennis player Novak Djokovic, and continuing,” said Vučićević.
However, he received fierce criticism from the public in Serbia because of his words against Djokovic, and former basketball player Vladimir Štimac also reacted.
Štimac was also surprised by the words of the editor of the mentioned tabloid, and he posted ironically on social networks.
“God forbid that we all fail like Djokovic. Because Gagan says that Novak is a failed tennis player,” Štimac wrote.
