The High Officer of Ukrainian Security Service Colonel Ivan Voronič walked through the Golosevski District this morning when at about 9 o’clock, a unknown man approached him at the local time and shot him while crossing the street.
The killer then escaped from the face of the place, and he wore a black T-shirt and shorts.
It is believed to be in Voronica, who is a close associate of President Volodimir Zelenia, fired five guns from a muffler, and then turned and ran away.
Colonel Voronič has succumbed from sustained wounds on the spot.
The identity of suspects and motives remain unclear.
Colonel Voronič was reportedly a senior operative in the Department of the Special Operations SBU.
SBU announced after the murder by a statement.
“Criminal proceedings were launched for the murder of SBU officers in the Golose County of Kiev,” Telegraph reported.
They added that they would take all measures to clarify this crime as soon as possible.
