The attack, executed on 24. September, interrupted exports to two million barrels of crude oil per day, which is a serious blow to Russian logistics, Kyiv Post reports.
The target targets were key logistics hubs, including the oil boarding complex and the Terminal of the Caspian oil consortium near Novorosijska. In these locations, tankers with raw oil were filled, including vessels associated with the Russian so-called “fleet in the shadows”. The sources state that the operation also damaged oil boarding in Tuapse, one of the largest Russian ports, further aggravating Moscow exports of crude oil abroad.
According to Ukrainian intelligence services, the chaotic reaction of Russian anti-air defense caused harm in civilian areas. Several vehicles were destroyed, and attacks caused panic in Novorosian, Tuapse, and even in Sochi, where the authorities temporarily evacuated the beaches.
In Sochi, about 120 kilometers south, tourists are evacuated from the beach due to warning on unmanned vessel attacks. Officials warned the voice vulnerabilities: “All from the water! Evacuate immediately.”

The Governor of Krasnodar area, Veniamin Kondratjev, said at least two people were killed, and three wounded in the attacks on the city center. The local medium shot reported eight victims, while emergency services confirmed that six people were hospitalized, including one child, three of whom are allegedly in severe condition. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium said their local office was damaged and that two people were injured, although none is employed in the company.
