The European Football Union (UEFA) rejected Real Madrid on disciplinary sentences imposed on three of their players – Kylian Mbappé, Antonio Rüdiger and Dania Ceballos.
The penalties followed the incident that occurred after the end of the rematch of the eighth finals of the Champions League against Atlético Madrid.
Mbappé was punished with 40,000 euros, Rüdiger with 30,000, and Ceballos with 20,000 euros. In addition, Mbappé and Rüdiger are suspended conditionally on a single match, which means that the punishment will only take effect if a similar offense repeated a similar offense.
