From the pioneering successes of the founder to teachers who have exhausted the burden and preserved the flame of torch of artistic and social relevance and responsibility in the most difficult days.
The immeasurable contribution to the development of this institution on the infrastructure and personnel plan was given by prof. Osman-Faruk Sijarić (1942-2021), a respected violinist, professor and a multi-year Dean of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, playing a key role in survival and maintaining the continuity of work in war and the holder of its renovation and prosperity in the post-war period.
On the day of the birth of prof. Osmana-Faruka Sijarić, on Saturday, 17. May 2025 at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo within 18. May Musical Ceremonies, the Memorial Concerto will perform the Eminent Sorokow and Pianist Ruben Dalibaltayan to report a Violin and Piano Sonata K. 454 in B Dura Wa Mozart, sonat for violin and piano op. 108 UD Molo J. Brahms and a sonato for violin and piano in a duro C. Francan.
