On Saturday, June 13, a taekwondo tournament was held in the Sports Hall on Višnjik in Zadar, which brought together 400 competitors from 34 clubs and six countries, which took on an international character.
Taekwondo club Poskok-Kočerin took part in the tournament with seven competitors who competed in two disciplines, sports combat and kick and won five medals.
In the sports fighting discipline, the following performed:
- Matea Sabljić kad.A-51kg
- Ivana Bazin kad.A+59kg
- Matija Kožul junio.A-59kg
- Marija Sesar Jr.kad.A-40 kg
- Ana Sesar Jr.kad.B-44 kg
- Teo Bazina Jr.Kad.B-36 kg
She performed in the kick F4 discipline Rita Kvesic.
Ivan Bazin had her best performance and after three successful fights she won the first place and won the title of the best female cadet of the tournament.
Matea Sabljic also excelled and won the gold medal after three excellent fights.
Matija Kožul after winning two fights in the final, he loses and wins the silver medal.
They had an excellent premiere performance Marija Sabljić and Teo Bazina who lost in the final and won silver medals.
They had their first performances Ana Sesar in battle and Rita Kvesic in the kick, who were left without a medal, but for the first time very commendable, according to TKD Poskok Kočerin.
The team went to the tournament accompanied by coaches Martine Gašpar and Magdalena Kvesić who did an excellent job.
Congratulations to the whole team on the excellent embankment in Zadar and the promotion of Kočerin and the City of Široki Brijeg.
