Three people executed today in Iran after they were convicted of rape, the judicial authorities said.
“Death penalties for three people convicted of rape was performed this morning in the northern town prison of Gorgan,” he said the head of the local Judiciary Heidar Asiabi.
The murder and rape are punishable in Iran, the second country after China after the implementation of the death penalty, the International Human Rights Organization, among which Amnesty International is.
“The three-member band was quickly arrested after the three women reported rape,” Asciibi said, not stating further details about that case.
