The Association of European Football Associations (UEFA) published on Friday the list of cities that expressed interest in hosting the final matches in its club competitions for 2028 and 2029, and interestingly, only Munich is interested in hosting the 2028 Champions League final.
Expression of interest, for which the deadline was October 22 of this yearis not binding, according to the press release of the umbrella European football organization, and all cities that submit complete documentation by June 10, 2026 will be considered candidates.
Allianz Arena was the scene of this year’s Champions League final in which Paris Saint-Germain won their first European title by defeating Inter Milan with a record 5-0.
The host of the next final of the elite European club competition is Budapest (Puskas Arena), while the 2027 final will be held at the Madrid stadium Metropolitanowhere he plays home games Atletico Madrid.
