Bosnia and Herzegovina will seek their way to the World Cup through a play-off in which we host Wales in the semi-finals, and in case of victory, we would play the final match of the play-off at home against the winner of the match between Italy and Northern Ireland.
The winner of that play-off in today’s draw was placed in the fourth hat, and by the will of the draw it was determined that they will be in group B.
This group also includes: Canada, Qatar and Switzerland.

This will be the first World Cup where 48 national teams will compete, 16 more than at the last World Cup. This means that the total number of matches will increase from 64 to 104 matches. The championship lasts from June 11 to July 19, which will make it the longest ever.
The national teams will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each. The two best teams from each group and eight of the 12 third-placed national teams will advance to the round of 16, the new knockout round.
