The Zenica-Doboj canton is the first canton in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina whose Ministry of Finance signed a contract for the transition to program budgeting, in accordance with the instructions of the Federal Ministry of Finance.
After the successful implementation of the Oracle ERP Cloud system, a contract was signed today in the cantonal Ministry of Finance, which represents the next step in that process – the introduction of the Oracle application for planning and budgeting (Enterprise Performance Management – EPM).
The agreement on the provision of technical support services and subscriptions to licenses for Oracle Cloud solutions was signed by the Minister of Finance of the ZDK Dženana Čišija and the regional director of Oracle for applications in the cloud, Jovana Vidaković.
Based on the decision of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the most favorable bidder in the open public procurement procedure was the company Oracle BH doo Sarajevo, whose offer, as the only one received and fully acceptable, was evaluated as the most economically and technically favorable.
The contract includes the following services: Oracle ERP Cloud – subscription for 42 named variable users, Oracle Procurement Cloud – subscription for 25 users and Oracle Enterprise EPM Cloud (planning and budgeting) – subscription for 50 users.
By concluding this contract for a period of two years, the Ministry of Finance of the ZDK is entering the implementation phase of program budgeting, which further strengthens transparency and efficiency in the management of public funds.
Let us remind you that in November of last year, a new module for budget planning was presented, as a continuation of the use of Oracle ERP Cloud, which the Ministry of Finance ZDK has been using for three years.
Minister Čišija expressed her full support for this step forward, stressing that ZDK strives to establish a modern, functional and responsible public finance system in accordance with the best international practices.
