At the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton adopted several decisions in the total amount of 3,639,295 KM, which relate to the realization of the program of expenditure of funds of the ZDK Budget for incentives in agriculture for the year 2025.
– Taking into account the conditions for agricultural production in greenhouses and greenhouses in the Canton area, the Government allocated 1,079,282 KM in the name of support for agricultural production in greenhouses and greenhouses, in the amount of 5.5 KM/m², for 181 trades that met the conditions of the Public Call. In this way, the Government has fulfilled the promise given to agricultural producers that it will do everything to protect and preserve production in the protected area, and that the funds allocated for this purpose will contribute to the stabilization of agricultural production – said the Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry ZDK Jasmin Čajić.
The Cantonal Government allocated 1,952,200 KM in the name of support for registered cattle farms, in the amount of 600 KM per head, for 262 trades that fulfilled the conditions of the Public Call.
At the same session, a decision was made on the approval of funds in the name of support for the purchase of greenhouses, in the amount of 91,913 KM, for 21 registered trades.
Also, a decision was made to approve funds for support for mushroom production in the amount of 30,000 KM, and support for registered organic production in the amount of 9,900 KM for six registered producers of organic production.
Taking into account the development of the sheep and goat breeding sector, 344,000 KM was additionally allocated for support for registered sheep and goat production, in the amount of 4,000 KM per trade, for 86 trades, as well as support for registered pig production in the amount of 24,000 KM for eight registered trades.
At the same session, the Government made a decision to approve funds to support the development of municipalities in the rural area of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, in the amount of 100,000 KM, for the municipalities of Olovo and Vareš.
Also, funds were approved in the name of support for registered breeding of original and protected breeds of animals in the amount of 8,000 KM.
From the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, ZDK said that they are continuing with the implementation of other activities included in the Agricultural Production Incentive Program for 2025 in the Canton area.
