“I follow them and I can say that they are a good, well-organized team. They have a clear understanding of their game, they defend the space in the penalty area well and they don’t need many chances to score. They also have quality wings – simply, it is a team with a good profile,” said Bellamy.
The Wales coach emphasized the tactical maturity of the BiH national team.
“They don’t go for aggressive pressing, they are satisfied with the game in the middle block, which means they don’t retreat deep. They have players who are physically fit and able to counterattack quickly. I expected a strong, typically Balkan team – and that’s exactly what I saw,” he added.
