At 95. Session of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, which chaired Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, in the focus were activities in the field of education, health, culture, agriculture and veterans.
The Government adopted a report on the implementation of the development of the Zenica-Doboj Canton for 2024. year, a strategic document that includes the period 2021-2027. Prime Minister Nezir Pivić pointed out that the strategy in the previous year was realized above the planned level.
– If we continue at this pace, we will have a fully implementation in financial and content meaning. In this period, we generated a 120 percent realization of strategic goals, which further motivates us to continue in the same direction – said Prime Minister Pivić.
At today’s session, the government also discusses 28 requirements of primary and secondary schools for the approval of additional transport of students living at a distance less than five kilometers from the school.
– It is known that we have free transportation of students. However, the Ministry of Education forms the Commission, which considers the transportation requirements below five kilometers in cases where reasonable to child safety. Today we granted 28 such requests – said Pivic.
In the field of culture, the Government of the CPP approved additional funds in the amount of KM 431,000, which, according to the Prime Minister, is confirmed by the commitment of the government to continuously strengthen the salary sector, but also additional financing of projects.
– These are institutions whose founders are cities and municipalities, but the Government of the CPP provides funds for their salaries, fees and co-financing their projects – the Prime Minister explained.
The government has approved 3,217,000 KM to the Ministry of Health for the purchase of equipment for the Zenica Cantonal Hospital. Prime Minister Pivic explained that the currently investment in the procurement of equipment for this institution, and that the city of Zenica is waited for the resolution of property-legal relations in order to move into investing in hospital buildings.
– We put the focus on the purchase of equipment, because patients and conditions are priority, regardless of administrative barriers, “Pivić said.
In the field of veteral protection, the Ministry of Veterans’ issues allocated 104,773 KM for housing defenders and members of their families, while in 2025. year for this purpose total 727,496 KM was consumed.
In today’s session of the Government, programs in the field of agriculture and veterinaryism were adopted. The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry has allocated 200,000 KM for animal health care, while 150,000 KM was awarded to the Institute of Health and Food Zenica for projects in the field of veterinary medicine and plant production.
