Ju Museum Tešanj and UG “Sehara” Tešanj organized the Middle Ages Festival on Sunday, an event that attracted numerous visitors and revived the spirit of the medieval Bosnian state.
The festival was held on occasion 564. Anniversary of the first mention of the past In the Charter of the Bosnian King Stjepan Tomašević, and 800. Anniversary of the first written mention of the parish of Usor from 1225. year, which belonged to Tešanj.
The program opened the director of the Tešanj museum, while the attendees were also addressed by the Municipality of Tešanj Suad Huskić, and the School of Scientific “Gradus: Usor and salt – 800 years from the first written mention” Zafer Gölen.
The special part of the program was a solemn opening of the exhibition “Traces of the old Bosnian countries and the salt” of the academic painter of Ahmet Hundur in the Captain’s tower. The exhibition through 25 papers shows the cultural heritage of space from the pasta to today’s Zvornik.
Visitors then had the opportunity to enjoy the presentation of Falcolar, the concert of the medieval music of the Fugatto ensemble from Zenica, as well as numerous interactive content. Inside the walls of the Tešani fortress are shown by old crafts, the medieval table, by the port of the port and arrows, throwing a spear, catapult and other games that have evoked everyday life of that time.
The organizers pointed out gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of the festival and emphasized the importance of such events for the preservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage of the breach and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
