Last night, the last group of pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived at Sarajevo International Airport late in the evening, thus completing the number of 2,226 pilgrims who stayed at the holy places in the previous weeks.
You could see the joy on the faces of the pilgrims when meeting their families, and in the previous days the Office for Hajj and Umrah made an effort to ensure that all our pilgrims performed their rites and that everything was at a high level.
– We are very satisfied with the overall organization of the Hajj. Everything was done on time and we functioned flawlessly. I use this opportunity to thank our entire team who invested a lot of effort in serving the pilgrims – said the head of the Office for Hajj and Umrah Dževad Hadžić.
He added that in addition to the guides and Sharia consultants, a special thanks also goes to the medical team.
– The medical team did a good job and the most important thing is that no pilgrims ended up in the hospital and that, thank God, we all returned to our homeland healthy – emphasized Hadžić.
During their stay, Hadžić points out, the pilgrims were very disciplined and listened to the instructions of the management and their guides, which contributed to everything going smoothly.
Prof. Ph.D. Nezir Halilović was one of the guides this year.
For the MINA Agency, upon returning to their homeland, he said that all the pilgrims were looking forward to returning to their homes and families.
– Thank God, all the pilgrims are healthy and they all completed their duties on time. The organization of the Hajj progresses year by year, and this is visible both on the Hajj and on the feedback we receive from them after returning to their homeland – pointed out Halilović.
The pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina this year, emphasized Halilović, were to be commended, he writes MINE.
– Their faces are happy and bright. They left here like ordinary madmen and now they return as pilgrims. They were impeccable during their stay, but that is what characterizes our people, a high level of civilization, culture and hygiene. Our pilgrims were an example everywhere – added Halilović.
He also said that the various educations they had before and during the hajj contributed to the good preparation of the hajj for this life journey.
As an envoy of reisul-ulema, the last group was welcomed tonight by the director of the Directorate for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Muhamed Jusić, who congratulated the management of the Office for Hajj and Umrah and all the pilgrims on the successful completion of the fifth Islamic duty.
Let us remind you that the first group of this year’s hajjis from our country set off on May 16 on the way to the holy places of Islam.
At their service at all times was a team of 47 guides, six Sharia consultants and a medical team of 14 members: seven doctors and seven medical technicians.
