Investigators believe that more than 500 million euros of tax have been waived through illegal production, while the organizers realized an illegal income of around 130m euros.
Police, behind the hidden underground entrance, found bedrooms and a living space for 18 workers, as well as the kitchen and bathroom. It is estimated that more than seven million cigarettes were produced in the facility.
