“When it comes specifically to the shopping center ‘Armani’ in Žepč, we inform you that we have not received any reports, but as part of regular activities in the field, among others, we visited the mentioned center on December 22, 2024, when the acting inspectors determined that it was conducting trade contrary to legal provisions, and due to the established violation, the company as well as the responsible person of the company have been sanctioned in accordance with the law”, they told “Nezavisne novine” from the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs Zenica-Doboj canton.
As they remind, after the entry into force of the new Law on Internal Trade on November 14, the Market – Tourism – Hospitality Inspectorate of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of the Zenica – Doboj Canton continuously plans and carries out inspection supervision, especially on compliance with the provisions of Article 18, which stipulates that sales facilities closed on Sundays and holidays.
“Sanctions for non-compliance with the aforementioned legal provisions are prescribed in the range from 2,000 KM to 15,000 KM for a legal entity, from 500 KM to 1,500 KM for a responsible person in a legal entity, and from 500 KM to 1,500 KM for a trader, a natural person”, they explain from inspections.
Let us remind you that the FBiH Government’s decision to approve the operation of shops in Orašje on Sundays caused a storm of indignation.
The example from Žepč shows that this decision, made outside the Law on Internal Trade and without any criteria, could cause a chain reaction of non-compliance.
