In the Center for Education of Police Officers and Accommodation of the Special Police Unit of the Ministry of the Interior in Zenica in Zenica, today the ceremonial ceremony is handover of new official vehicles for the needs of the Police Board of the ZDK.
Nezir Pivić Canton Prime Minister Nezir Pivić and the Minister of the Interior Emir Vraco handed the keys two new vehicles to the commander of the Center in Zenica, Riyadh Delic.
The ceremony was also attended by Adis Imamović, the head of the Uniformed Police of the Ministry of the Ministry of the MUP ZDK, and Samir Valentić, Commander of the Special Police Unit.
The Government of the CPP by the Ministry of the Interior procured a total of 14 new vehicles – 12 with police labels and two without markings for the needs of the criminal police. The total value of the procurement is 678,879 KM.
Prime Minister Nezir Pivić pointed out the importance of continuous investment in the safety of citizens and equipping the police.
– I am glad that today we witness the official surrender of vehicles that were procured for the Ministry of the Interior. This is the continuation of the activities where we strengthen investment in the security of our citizens. This year, we set aside records for the equipping of the police, including the purchase of weapons, and what specializes is to procure the helicopter that will arrive in the coming period. We will continue to strengthen both material and personnel policing capacity. We soon expect the announcement of the public invitation to receive new police officers. The safety of citizens remains one of the priorities of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
Minister Emir Vraco emphasized that vehicles will be evenly distributed according to police stations across the cantons.
– When it comes to the Cantonal Government’s commitment, the MUP Police Directorate is richer for 14 new vehicles that will be distributed in the Canton in the coming period in the coming period. The government has set aside almost 680,000 KM for this purpose. All we do, we work in order to safety and the security of our citizens – said Minister Emir Vraco.
This activity is another in a series of steps that the ZDK government is taking in order to strengthen the capacity of police services and improving the overall safety in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
