Darijo Zahora, a former Dinamo player and football manager, filed a lawsuit against Martina and Mata Baturina, from whom he is demanding three million and 700 thousand euros due to the termination of cooperation.
After the County Court in Varaždin recently ruled in a first-instance verdict that the football club Osijek is obliged to pay one and a half million euros Daria Zahora, that former football player of Dinamo, who has been for years works as a football manager, soon he could collect an even larger amount from the Croatian national team player Martin Baturina.
Zahora, as written in the new issue of the weekly magazine Nacional, in May of this year before the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb submitted lawsuit against Martina and Mate Baturinafrom whom he is demanding three million and 700 thousand euros due to the termination of cooperation.
Martin moved from Dinamo to Italian Como in the summer transfer window, but before that transfer was realized, the Baturina family she ended her cooperation with Zahor about representing the young midfielder.
Therefore Zahora feels cheated and demands huge compensation calling into question the manner in which the Baturina family carried it all out.
Namely, in the contract that Baturina once signed, it was stated that Zahora has the exclusive right to negotiate any of Martin’s professional playing contracts. He had an obligation to take care of his sports career, and Baturina undertook to pay Zahori 10 percent of his net income every month.
Also, part of the contract was that he would transfer to Zahora as an investor the total income from the right to use his name and likeness for commercial purposes.
It’s Baturina broke that contract, and a little later it was sold to Como, so Zahora now wants her share of the pie.
