French referee Clemont Turpin will be the referee for the match between England and Croatia in the first round of Group L at the World Cup, the International Football Federation (FIFA) announced today.
Assistant referees will also be from France, Nicolas Dano and Benjamin Page. The fourth arbitrator will be Katja Garcia from Mexico.
The reserve judge is her compatriot Sandra Ramirez.
The match between England and Croatia will be played on June 17 at 22:00 CET in Arlington.
In the second match of the first round of Group K, Uzbekistan and Colombia will meet, and this duel is scheduled for June 18 at four o’clock in Mexico City.
FIFA decided that the Englishman Anthony Taylor will referee this match, and his compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will be the assistant referees.
The fourth arbitrator is Juan Calderon from Costa Rica, and the reserve referee is Juan Carlos Mora, also from Costa Rica.
