A driver (21) from Mostar who posted videos of dangerous and irresponsible driving on social networks was fined and banned from driving a motor vehicle for 30 days. We remind you that a video of a driver who boasted that he crossed the section from Ljubuški to Mostar in just 17 minutes appeared on the YouTube channel.
Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, taking measures within their competence to increase road traffic safety, carried out activities related to the identification and sanctioning of the driver who published videos of dangerous and irresponsible driving on social networks, the HNK Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday.
As it is added, in cooperation with the police officers of the Police Department of the MUP of the West Herzegovina Canton, it was determined that the driver ZZ (2004) from Mostar, on October 19, 2025, was driving a vehicle on the route Ljubuški – Mostar, and that he had committed several serious traffic violations that were filmed and later made public via social networks.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs states that the procedure established that violations were committed under the Law on the Basics of Traffic Safety on the Roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to Art. 39. paragraph 2., art. 43. paragraph 1. and Art. 33. Due to the established violations, a fine was imposed on the driver and a protective measure prohibiting him from driving a motor vehicle for a period of 30 days.
– The police department of the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton strongly condemns any form of irresponsible driving, especially when such behavior is additionally promoted by public announcements on social networks – the statement says, adding that such actions represent a serious threat to the safety of all road users and will not be tolerated.
