An explosion occurred in the studio of the Ukrainian radio station Army FM in Kyiv this morning when the host was handling an explosive device during a live broadcast.
As reported by Ukrainska Pravda, this morning at around 10:50 the host of Army FM took a VP.9 type detonator during the show and started fiddling with it, which caused an explosion. The detonator was previously brought to the studio by a guest from the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
As a result of the explosion, the woman suffered shrapnel wounds on her arms and stomach and was taken to the hospital. Doctors described her condition as stable.
Kyiv police reported that they are investigating the circumstances of the explosion that occurred in the studio of the radio station.
