Death of the eleven-month-a-month boy from Konjic, who died on the road from Konjic on Sunday to the University Clinical Hospital (SKB) Bridge, explores the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK).

– the occasion of the unfortunate event in our city – which resulted in the death of a fellow child from 11.5 months – but also because of non-empted inscriptions and comments in public, I feel the need to – as a duty doctor on the day – I have an insight into a picture of real events:
Namely, on 7/1/2025. I was a doctor on duty (as a young manual after vocation I am a general practitioner in the General Hospital Konjic. At 17:04 the 11.5-month boy was sent from the Emergency Medical Aid Health Center Konjic (HMP) to the Urgent Center Konjic General Hospital (UC). The boy came accompanied by his father and Nena, his mother was not present. Since I couldn’t find him in the health system, I asked Nen whether the child was seduced into the Health Care Service System, for which I received the answer that the child was never health secured. The reason for the instructions in UC was elevated body temperature. In the conversation with his father, I learn that the child had a temperature of 37.5c before before, and that he had recovered and had diarrhea on several occasions. He further states that the child feeds exclusively to Hapama. When reviewing the child’s body temperature was 38.5 c, it was pale, it seemed exhausted, a tachypnoist), a tachycardic heartache (accelerated heart rate), without noises, and a strained whistle. The other findings was uncomfortable. I immediately ordered the blood sample for laboratory analysis (KKS, DKS, CRP, Shuk, Urea, Creatinine), to take a ray shot of the lungs, and in order to lower the body temperature to give a voltaren Čepić for children. I was contacted from the lab that blood sugar values are elevated on the camera, which I checked by measuring blood sugar to the tape. Since the value of sugar was very high (amounted to 17.5), I immediately called on the competent pediatrician, emphasizing him the possibility of ketoacidosis and infectious condition, and that other findings were not yet ready, but that this condition was alerting. I want to emphasize that I am in a further treatment with the patient, and according to the protocol, it was obliged to listen to the instructions of the on-line and superior Pediatrician’s superior specialist. The pediatrician then told me that he could not come to the hospital to examine a child for the hoodache, and send him an X-ray image of his lungs and call him when all the findings are done. After 10 minutes, I have contacted the pediatrician again because of the arrangements. Then he gave me the instructions to send the child to the SKB Mostar Pediatric. I told him that I would prepare everything and send sanity (I am emphasizing that alone in earlier cases worked), what I got from the competent pediatrician to do the transport by private vehicle. After completing the conversation, medical technicians communicate that the Father and Child fosted the separate room for ruthless scenes, as the UC reception arrived at that moment of HMP with injured motorcyclist. I immediately went to the Father and announced him the position of the pediatrician, that findings are not the best, and that our capacities were unable to examine the correct cause of the child. I am emphasizing, nor in one point, I did not say that we did not have a medical vehicle, but on the contrary, I despite the Supervisory Specialist doctor, asked Father, “Do you still provide you with a sanity?”. Father said, “I’ll take him alone.” To my question, there is someone to go with him to Mostar, to be with his child, answered me, “I’ll pick up his mother” and he left. At around 18:30 the father, the child and Nena left the UC.
