Shiffrin was convincingly the fastest in the first run, so her fifth time in the second run was enough for a convincing victory, the fourth in as many slaloms this season.

With a maximum of 400 points, Shiffrin is the leader in the order of slalom skiers, ahead of Lara Colturi, who has 220 points, because she also did not finish the first run, reports Hina.
Shiffrin also leads the overall standings for the Grand Crystal Globe with 558 points. New Zealander Alice Robinson is second with 394 points, and Camille Rast made it to third place with 343 points.
The female skiers will stay in France, as downhill and super G will be held in Val d’Isere on Saturday and Sunday.
