Tanisa Cikotić, conductor of the Zenica Chamber Symphony Orchestra, today presented a certificate of appreciation to the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Mirza Mušija, for supporting the realization of the music project “EX YU Rock & Movie Music Performance”.
This project, which premiered in the House of Culture Kakanj, and then in the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica, attracted a lot of attention from the audience and the profession. Conducted by Tanisa Cikotić, the Zenica Chamber Symphony Orchestra performed a unique concert program composed of legendary ex-YU pop-rock hits and music from cult film classics, with performances by top vocal soloists – Nermin Puškar, Almas, Vimokša (Emine Bajtarević), Kenan Mačković, Hanad Džehverović, Hana Talić, Sara Vojičić and Adi Begić.
Cikotić pointed out that the support of the Ministry plays an important role in the implementation of such cultural and artistic projects, especially those that bring together young talents and established artists, and bring new, rich musical experiences to the audience.
The certificate of appreciation presented is a token of recognition to Minister Mušija for his continuous understanding of the needs of the cultural sector and his contribution to strengthening the concert activity in ZDK.

The “EX YU Rock & Movie Music Performance” project showed how, with quality work, creativity and dedication, an exceptional team of artists can gather and offer the audience something new and valuable. The Ministry will continue to stand by such initiatives, because they strengthen the cultural identity of our canton and open space for the affirmation of young musicians – said Minister Mirza Mushija.
