The municipality of Tešanj has published a public call for the selection of beneficiaries of grant funds within the project “Support for the development of start-up ideas of young people in 2026”, with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship, self-employment and the creation of new jobs in the municipality.
The project is implemented on the basis of the Tešanj Municipality Development Strategy and the Municipality Budget for 2026, and is intended for young people who want to start their own business and implement a business idea in the Tešanj area.
The right to apply is for adults up to 35 years of age with residence in the Tešanj municipality, who did not have a registered activity from January 1, 2022 until the day of the announcement of the public call. Applications can be submitted by individuals or groups of candidates.
Through the grant scheme, the costs of business registration, part of the costs of gross wages for newly employed workers, the costs of decorating and equipping business premises, the lease of business premises, and the purchase of equipment, machines and tools necessary for business will be supported.
The maximum amount of funds that can be approved per user is 10,000 KM.
Applications are submitted in person to the reception office of the Municipality of Tešanj, through the office in Jelah or by post, and the deadline for submitting applications is July 9, 2026.
A presentation and education on how to apply will be organized for interested candidates, and the date of the event will be announced later.
