Tešanj General Hospital has a Prismaflex system from today, the most modern dialysis device used in intensive care units for patient treatment in the most difficult health conditions.
Donation was presented within the marking of the “Golden September” campaign – the month of raising awareness of cancer in children, traditionally organized Association “Heart for children with cancer“. In addition to this association, the company also took part in the project SARACEVIC doo Tešanj, Parts Crafting Excellence, Islamic community of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Medimpex.
Director of the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer”, Kubat, thanked all partners who supported the idea:
– “We have initiated this project after a positive experience in Tuzla, where we saw how much such an apparatus can mean patients. Thanks to businessmen and all partners who have recognized the value of this initiative and helped that it is realized in hard.”
Importance of Prismaflex Apparatus
Prismaflex system is used in patients with acute kidney damage or multiple organic failure, and its basic function is to temporarily take the role of kidney. It is especially important for patients in critical conditions – after complex operations – because it provides precise and individually adjusted therapy.
Chief of the Department of Dialysis General Hospital Tešanj, Ph.D. Nergjada Irez, she pointed out that the appliance is a big step forward in the work of health staff:
– “Prismaflex is one of the most modern machines in the market. It is possible to implement the most difficult patients in intensive care and respiratory support. The most important patients will no longer have to transport it to other hospitals, but quality therapy will be available here, in difficult.”
By purchasing this appliance, the General Hospital Tešanj further strengthens intensive care capacity, ensuring a higher level of health care for patients and the easier operation of medical staff.
