The Economic and Social Council for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously supported the continuation of the implementation of the Regulation on the payment of tax-free assistance to workers
At today’s online session of the Economic and Social Council for the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Proposal for a Regulation on Amendments to the Regulation on the Payment of Assistance to Workers by Employers in 2026 was discussed.
The proposal of the regulation, which was prepared by the Federal Ministry of Finance, provides for the continuation of the application of the Regulation that was valid until July 31, 2026, which allows employers to continue paying workers assistance in the amount of up to 300 KM per month without calculation of contributions, ending with December 2026, that is, until January 31, 2027 at the latest.
The proposal of the regulation was unanimously supported by the representatives of all three social partners in the Economic and Social Council for the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Economic and Social Council for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina assessed that the continued application of this regulation represents an important measure of support for workers and employers in the circumstances of increased living and business costs, and confirmed the commitment of social partners to resolve all issues of common interest through social dialogue and reaching consensus.
