Manifestation “Summer in Tešnje 2026” brings a rich program of cultural, entertainment and sports content that will from July 17 to August 31 to be held at several locations in Tešanj. Visitors can expect concerts by famous performers, exhibitions, book promotions, a traditional music festival, a Street Food weekend, a sports tournament and numerous other events.
This year’s event will be opened in Friday, July 17 at 6 p.mwith an exhibition of paintings Hibe Mustafić “Flumen” in the Center for Culture and Education.
Among the more significant events, the exhibition stands out “Flood in Tešnje 1976–2026”which on July 23 in Gradina will mark 50 years since the catastrophic flood that hit this area.
During the summer, literature lovers will be able to attend the promotions of several new editions. Books will be presented “Zehir” by Hadžera Beganović, “Irma and I” Irma Bejdić, Ramp to Paradise Vahid Klopić, as well as the work “Hadith in Bosniak culture – Personal and family life” by Mustafa Gobeljić. A film screening is also planned “Hako” Josip Pejaković with the promotion of the book “Međugorac from Pešter” by Haka Duljević.
The program will enrich and Ethno festivalopening a permanent establishment “Jam Cellar”and an art colony and exhibition “Heritage of Tešnja and surroundings”.
The musical part of the event is led by concerts Šejla Zonic August 2 and Amira Medunjanin August 6 in Gradina.
Special attention will also be attracted Street Food weekend Tešanjwhich will combine a rich gastronomic offer and evening concerts from August 7 to 9 in Gornja čaršija. The audience will be entertained Igor Vukojevic, After Dark band and Collapse band.
As part of the event, there will also be an award ceremony within the project “Positive Thinking Affirmation”a traditional handball tournament Infinity Handball Cup 2026 – In memoriam Haris Alića children’s program “We are Tešnja’s children”as well as Book fair.
The organizers invite the citizens of Tešnj and guests to visit numerous facilities during the summer and be part of the event, which this year also brings a diverse program intended for all generations.
