On Sunday, HSK Zrinjski Mostar welcomes FK Željezničar in the match of the 14th round of the WWin League BiH.
After a heavy defeat in the UEFA Conference League against Dynamo Kyiv, Zrinjski players have a new challenge in the domestic league.
The head coach of Mostar, Igor Štimac, announced the meeting with the Sarajevo team.
Every game is a derby for us. Each carries three points and every point is extremely important. and that’s how we approach this match. We thought about it even before leaving for Poland, we weighed carefully what and how to approach the bigger picture that awaits us, what is more important to us, what we have to focus on and bearing in mind that we could not get the postponement that we asked for with Željezničar to extend the game to Monday and Tuesday, we had to react as we did in Lublin. We experienced a difficult result therethat’s how much my apology goes to our loyal fans who traveled a long way to get there and experienced an unpleasant defeat, Stimac said.
Štimac believes that a heavy defeat in the Conference League should not shake his team.
In the final goal, we saved a lot of fresh legs for what is our priority and if we had to choose a game in this difficult rhythm that we will sacrifice, then let it be that Dynamo Kyiv because it is somehow it seemed the most painless so we are ready to welcome the Željezničar and there is no excuse or justification. Tomorrow on the field I want to see warriors, fresh, responsible and ready, added Štimac.
