The visitors from Siroki opened the match better, and after a few opening minutes they had an advantage of 2:8, but the home team quickly responded with a series of 8:0 and reversed the result. After that, the game was mostly basket for basket, and Sloboda won the first period in their favor with a score of 21:18.
In the second quarter, the home team further raised the level of play, above all in the defensive part, so at one point the advantage went to a double-digit difference. Tuzla went to the break with a nine-point lead and controlled the rhythm of the game.
Široki continued to try to get back into the match, he managed to reduce the deficit, so Sloboda entered the last quarter with only two points ahead. However, when it was most needed, Marko Trbić’s team played a phenomenal finish.
Sloboda won the last period with a score of 20:10 and finally reached a convincing victory against one of the main candidates for the top of the table.
The most effective player in Sloboda was Sani Champara with 19 points, while Jovan Stulić and Vladimir Tomašević added 14 and 12 points, respectively. Savo Milanović also had a double-digit performance with 10 points.
For Široki, Josip Bilinovac and Dimitrik Trice were the best with 17 points each, while Jalyn McCreary scored 14.
