The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton signed the contracts with the Chiefs of Tešanj, Kakanj, Lead and Doboj South on the implementation of infrastructure projects in the field of education and sports. The signing was also attended by Prime Minister ZDK Nezir Pivić.
Contracts envisaged funds for four projects – the construction of a new school building in the settlement of olovo in the municipality of Olovo in the municipality of Doboj South – 78,000 KM, and the reconstruction of the bowling alley – 15,000 km.
Prime Minister ZDK Nezir Pivić pointed out the importance of the joint action of cantonal and local authorities.
– We are witnessing joint projects. It is especially looking forward to continuing the activities in lead, which, although remotely from larger centers, showed exceptional infrastructure development. The construction of a new school in a lead port is a priority and hopefully our fast realization – said Pivić.
Minister Mirza Mušija emphasized that projects are the result of a systemic approach to planning and amend the programs of funds in accordance with the Law on Sports Collectives, relevant to the CCK.
– Given the specific needs in Tešnji and Doboj South, we fostered the funds through a special program that enables investment in sports infrastructure. In Doboj South will work on the polygons and the reconstruction of existing playgrounds, while in a striking focus on the construction of sports fields with artificial grass, which will also serve the youth selection of clubs tošk and borac – said Mushi.
He added that a complete construction of a new school is planned for lead, and that the reconstruction of the bowling allegations aims to preserve sports with a long tradition.
– These are investments that have a purpose – all in the interests of children and their future through quality sports and educational infrastructure – concluded a fly.
The Mayor of Kakanj Mirnes Bajtarević expressed gratitude to the line ministry and the Government of the ZDK in the previous investments.
– We announced a tender for the auxiliary field of the football club miner. After 30 years of the story, we finally realize that project. Through the Law on Sports Collectives, the Canton Earlier has previously secured 200,000 KM, municipalities 100,000, and tomorrow we submit an application and according to the Federal Level for additional funds. With money intended for the reconstruction of the bowling, we will ensure that a club that has a great tradition will continue to be able to play official matches in their city – said Bajtarević.
The Chief of Past Suad Huskić pointed out that additional 500,000 KM from the municipal budget will be invested with the cantonal means.
– These funds will be used to continue improving the sports infrastructure, primarily through the modernization of sports fields – said Huskić.
Chief of the Municipality of Doboj South, Mirnes Tukić, pointed out the importance of continuous investment in sports infrastructure.
– We are grateful to the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry in understanding the needs of our community. These investments are important for young people in Doboj South and motivation are to continue working on improving the conditions for recreation and playing sports – Tukić said.
Djemal Memagić, Chief of the Municipality of Olovo, emphasized how much school construction project means for the local community.
– The construction of a new school in a lead port is extremely important for our municipality. We thank the cantonal authorities, which recognized this priority and I am convinced that we will successfully implement this project together in the interests of our children – said Memagic.
These projects confirm the continuous commitment of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton to invest in education and sports as the foundations of healthy community development. Through the partnership with local communities, the cantonal government continues to invest in infrastructure that directly contributes to the quality of life of citizens, especially young people.
