Seven people drowned, and 29 survived after the ship with the bereaved flips on the Lake Kyoga in the Northern district of Amolar in Uganda, the police said.
The wooden boat traveled from the village of Muchora Abino and to escort the religious to the funeral when he rolled over near the village of Kiryang in Podent Acii around 11:00 local time.

Boat accidents are common on Uganda Lakes, and the causes are overload and poor weather conditions, Xinhua reports.
