The General Secretary of the Sarajevo Canton Football Association, Ermin Čolpa, denied the allegations made by the Sarajevo Canton Minister of Culture and Sports, Kenan Magoda, about obstructions and abuses in the KS Football Association, which we are transcribing in full.
– Regarding the untrue and extremely inappropriate allegations of Kenan Magoda, the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, published on the minister’s personal FB profile, and the same forwarded and published today on the vijesti.ba portal, by which my name and the position of General Secretary of the Sarajevo Canton Football Association (FSKS) are brought into the context of alleged obstructions and abuses, I would like to for the sake of truth and protection of your personal, moral and professional reputation, inform the public of the following:
Allegations about any obstruction of the work of the Alliance are untrue.
The office of the Association and myself, as a long-time professional sports worker, have always acted in accordance with the law and applicable regulations. All requested decisions regarding the registration of changes in the register of associations that were the subject of processing were properly submitted within the legal deadline and in accordance with the notification of the Ministry of Justice and the administration of the Canton of Sarajevo. Even before the Football Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted its opinion, that is, its conclusion, the FSKS acted on the request of the Ministry of Justice and the KS administration, thus fulfilling the obligation from the notification.
Despite the fact that I am currently on sick leave, and the constant pressure and fierce mobbing to which the administration of the Association is exposed, the communication and administrative work of the Association took place properly and smoothly through official channels. I responsibly claim as the General Secretary of the FSKS that no letter, request or document that was an obligation of the FSKS was withheld or denied to the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the KS, or to any other competent institution.
The seal of the Association was always located in the official premises of the Association, where it belongs, accessible to authorized persons for the performance of daily tasks and tasks. Allegations of Minister Kenan Magoda about the “privatization of the seal”, “an instrument of blackmail”, as well as the mention of my family members in the context of alleged “criminal activities”, represent gross defamation and an attempt to discredit my family and me personally. Such statements are not only unfounded, but also unworthy of the position of the minister, and the truth and legality of such statements will be decided by the competent authorities.
All actions of FSKS were in accordance with the Law on Associations and Foundations of FBiH.
I demand from Kenan Magoda, Minister of Culture and Sports of the Canton of Sarajevo, to immediately retract the untrue and slanderous statements from the published statement, because they cause professional, reputational and moral damage, not only to my family and me as an employee, but also to the reputation of the Football Association of the Canton of Sarajevo.
I reserve the right to initiate appropriate legal actions due to these untrue announcements in order to protect honor, reputation and professional integrity – it is stated in the denial of the general secretary of the KS Football Association, Ermin Čolpa.
