– On the one hand, we hear that there is no intention of secession, and the other side of the removal ideas are installed in legislation and it cannot turn out well. I believe that this is a legal attack and I think institutions must act and want to act, Schmidt said, speaking of the draft new Constitution of the RS entity.
He said that he currently does not see changes in the political position of the majority in Banja Luka and that the situation could be like that to see some sanctions from other countries or that he could use the Bonn Powers himself.
He reminded that the SNSD voted for the establishment of the Court of BiH and that he does not see the meaning in claiming that the Court of BiH is not in the Dayton Agreement.
“Dodik decided to complain about the court’s decision, it was a confession of the court. Please do not play games with BiH institutions,” Schmidt said.
He also commented and addressing Željko Cvijanović in the UN.
“I did not hear the explanations that supporting the territorial integrity and Dayton fits in the demolition of the constitutional legal order. If we want Dejton, then we want to report that the Constitutional Court of BiH is in the original Dayton,” he said.
He said the international community must be ready to act, but also that the action of BiH security institutions should be considered.
He explained that he did not criticize HDZ and Plenković, but to describe the situation.
“The HDZ is very dedicated to achieve, as they say, legitimate representation, which is not possible, I know that there are already talks between political structures, but also the implementation of Sejdić-Finci and all other citizens who cannot be candidate for the presidency,” Schmidt said.
