Milošević emphasized:
“I am 52 years old, I can no longer be politically correct or take care if my words will offend someone. If I have already decided to speak, let the truth be heard – today we do not have a country called Serbia. I speak on behalf of all citizens. We have no national priorities, we do not know our path, we do not know who our political elites are,” said the former striker of Partizan, Osasuna, Zaragoza and Aston Villa.
He underlined the importance of youth in social changes: “It is good that people are finally rebelling. It is the youth who have awakened Serbia, but the question is how we will continue. Each generation in this country is forced to its own revolution. We have collapsed, even SANU is at the level of a village association, not to insult the associations. We have no gray heads, we have no brain trust, our intelligence has been bought.”
Speaking about the current political situation, Milosevic was clear: “It is sad that the people are waking up, and the political elite is still sleeping. Nowhere in the world have I seen a country without a political elite that has a program. Shameful! Even Slobodan Milosevic had ten people around him who knew two hundred times more than him,” he said in the Wish&Goal podcast.
