The team represented by the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tarik Muharemović, reached the eighth triumph of the season, which further strengthened its position in the middle of the championship table.
The question of the winner was practically solved already in the first 45 minutes. Sassuolo took the lead in the 25th minute, when Berardi shook the home team’s net with a precise shot after a great individual action.
The guests continued to press, and the reward came in stoppage time of the first half, when Caracciolo reacted clumsily and scored an own goal.
Pisa managed to introduce short-term uncertainty at the beginning of the sequel. Aebischer reduced the score to 1:2 in the 51st minute, but all hope of the home team was extinguished already in the 58th minute, when Kone scored for the final 1:3.
Muharemović also played a very notable game this time, surely leading Sassuolo’s back line and ranking among the best rated players of his team.
