In BH Telecom Premium Showroom, Sarajevo Run Fest 2025, the largest race event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was officially opened today. The event gathered organizers, media, sponsors and friends of the festival, and 18. The 18th birthday of the Sarajevo Half Marathon was marked in the ceremonial atmosphere.
On this occasion, the starting numbers were assigned to elite runners, including Lucia Kimani, Stanley Kyprus, Olivera Jevtić, Srdjan Samardzic and others, organizers said.
One of the founders of NGO Marathon Erol Mujanović thanked everyone who has supported the development of this project over recent years.
– When in 2007, we went with a small race, we couldn’t dream of coming into the festival that today brings together thousands of participants and includes four races for all generations. This development would not be possible without supporting our friends, sponsors, patrons and media institutions. Precisely thanks to them, Sarajevo Run Fest is today a symbol of sports, communion and inspiration – Mujanović pointed out.
The executive of the BH Telecom’s promotion sector Nadja Lutvikadić-Fočo pointed out the satisfaction that the Premium Showroom was the host and the sponsor of today’s socializing.
– We were pleased to host and sponsors of this meeting and happy to support Sarajevo Run Fest. This project promotes a healthy lifestyle, inclusion and socializing in all generations – the values that we will always support Lutvikadić-Fočo and called all the race for the girls through participation in BH Telecom My story team leading the Anisa Lojo Bajrić.
The main part of the festival is scheduled for Sunday in the morning, when the Intersport Fun Run Run, FitPass 5K and the traditional Sarajevo Half Marathon will be held in Sarajevo.
These races make a combination of sports, recreation and positive energy that brings together the entire community.
The Organization of Sarajevo Run Fest 2025 was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the KS Tourist Board, the Ministry of Transport of the KS, the Ministry of the Interior KS, and the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo.
