The project is implemented within the broader reconstruction of the Traffic Ring, Ilidža – Ilidža, and is performed by the company Strabag doo Sarajevo.
The current phase includes a section from Hamze Hume to the Ćumurija Street, in the length of about 1.1 kilometers. The works began in 2024. years, but were temporarily suspended in December due to inclement weather conditions. During the winter, the construction site was preserved, and the route temporarily paved in order to make traffic easier.
Given the favorable weather conditions and ready technical documentation, the contractor continues on Saturday with the removal of old asphalt and setting up a new wear layer, with the execution of other contracted works.
During the presentation, there will be a temporary modified traffic regime, according to the decision of the competent ministry.
From the Strabag, citizens invited citizens, drivers and all traffic participants in additional patience and understanding due to possible crowds. According to, joint cooperation can contribute to the faster completion of works and recent returns of this key city road to full function.
