Kerim Alajbegović, the super-talented football representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, remains in Salzburg during the spring part of the season, it was confirmed after the Austrian club rejected a generous offer from Roma, worth around 25 million euros.
Despite the strong interest from Italy, the club’s decision is to keep one of their most valuable players at least until the end of the season.
Kerim’s father, Semin Alajbegović, confirmed to the German “Bild” that the transfer will not take place during the winter, pointing out that the career development plan has already been agreed upon.
The 18-year-old winger’s brilliant performances have attracted attention across Europe. In addition to Roma, clubs from Spain, Italy and Turkey, as well as England, have shown interest.
Alajbegović scored 10 goals in 29 appearances for Salzburg this season. He also recorded two assists.
