Russia responded on Wednesday to the warning of the US President Donald Trump that the shortage of gasoline shows that the Russian economy is closer to the collapse.
Trump expressed a disappointment on Tuesday to President Vladimir Putin, who said he was not willing to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Novak said there was a stable supply of gasoline in the domestic market in Russia.
– We have a stable supply in the domestic market, we do not see the problems in that regard, “Novak said.
– The balance between production and consumption is maintained, and we, on the foreign government and the competent ministries, are all to ensure that it remains the case – he added, Reuters reports.
