The new earthquake of 5.2 degrees per Richter scale was recorded in the Pacific Ocean today, not far from the Russian Peninsula of Kamchatka, the unique geophysical service of the Russian Academy of Sciences said.
According to available data, the earthquake was recorded at 13:42 local time, with an epicenter about 126 kilometers southeast of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatic. The focus of the earthquake was at a depth of 68.4 kilometers.
For now, no warning on possible tsunami has been issued.
