The new president of the Board of Directors of the Association of Retired Persons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Izet Rizvo from Sarajevo, and he was elected to this position for the next four years. His deputy is Senad Buljina from Central Bosnia Canton.
The President of the Assembly of the Federation of Associations of Pensioners FBiH is Haso Halilović from the Tuzla Canton, who in the previous convocation was the deputy president of the Federation’s Board of Directors, writes Faktor.ba.
The electoral assembly lasted several hours
The President of the Supervisory Board of the Association is Hajrudin Alić from the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
“The election assembly of the Alliance was held in Fojnica. We thought it would end quickly, but it lasted for several hours. Before that, a report assembly was held where the work was discussed,” said one of the participants.
The former president of the Board of Directors of the Federation of FBiH Pensioners’ Associations was Redžo Mehić from Sarajevo. He held this position for two terms, from May 23, 2018 to June 10, 2026, eight years to be exact.
He was no longer eligible to run for this position.
Elections are late
In previous years, the Electoral Assembly was held mostly until May 25, however, this year there was a delay with the elections of new leadership within the municipal and cantonal pensioner associations.

The FBiH Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, in response to Fokus’ inquiry, provided precise data related to July pensions. They also explained on the basis of which economic indicators they made the calculation for pensions in the following month.
