Sources of TV networks Al Arabiya revealed new details on the first phase of the Fire Interruption Agreement in Gaza, achieved with American mediation between Hamas and Israel, including key security and humanitarian measures.
According to sources, the Rafah crossing should be reopened within 72 hours from the official announcement of the fire break. Preparations are also prepared for severe ruin cleaning equipment and the extraction of the body or remains of deceased Israeli hostages within the Gaza belt.
Sources added that Israel will start withdrawing from the Palestinian side of the border from Thursday evening within the initial implementation steps.
Meanwhile, discussions are underway that the party will manage the transition of Rafah from the Palestinian side, in echo efforts to ensure safe and coordinated operations.
Sources Al Arabiye also said the joint military working group is formed – made up of Egypt, United States, Israel, Qatar and Turkey – for the search for the hostages believed to be buried in ruins throughout Gaza.
The arrangement agreement between Israel and Hamas officially entered into force in Gaza on Thursday, a few hours after US President Donald Trump announced that an agreement was reached between warring pages.
