Qatar’s prime minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahm al-Thani, said on Saturday that negotiations on the Gaza conflict are at a “critical” moment.
Mediators are working together to push for the next phase of the ceasefire, he said during a panel discussion at the Doha Forum conference in Qatar.
At the same forum, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said negotiations on the stabilization force in Gaza, including its mandate and rules of engagement, are still ongoing, and that their main goal should be to separate Israelis and Palestinians along the border, Reuters reports.
