In his first statement after Trump threatened Russia’s economic sanctions if he did not end the war in Ukraine, Putin took a reconcilable tone towards the former US president.

Putin described his relationship with Trump as “business, pragmatic and reliable”.
He added that negotiations with Ukraine were hampered by the fact that Ukrainian President Volodimir is greensly signed by a decree forbidding the guidance of negotiations with Russia.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday night, Trump called on the OPEC to reduce global oil prices to weaken the key source of the cremal income.
“The current price is enough high that the war may take time,” he said.
Oil and gas revenues are a key source of funding for Russia.
On Friday, Putin rejected Trump’s economic threats, saying that “too much” low oil prices would be bad for both Russia. Nevertheless, Trump threats caused frustration among the Moscow elite, with some politicians and nationalists reacted negatively, and their dissatisfaction increases on state television.
The source from Russian diplomatic circles said, “Putin does not like public threats. He wants to address him as an equal partner. It is clear that every agreement will require a certain time.”
Although Trump did not exceed a detailed plan for the end of the war, his Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance could advocate the creation of the “highly insured” demilitarized zone on the border between the two countries.
