Our young footballer scored two goals in his team’s great victory of 4:1, and with that he pleased the experienced coach who publicly praised him.
“Goals are important, but I’m more interested in how he plays. I see him grow from a young player into a mature footballer. He participates well and performs his duties. I think he played well against Feyenoord as well,” said Bosz about Bajraktarević, then continued:
“In the football machine we want to be, he must keep up with us, both in pressing and in the defensive part. But also in making decisions: when he dribbles and when he plays in possession of the ball – it must be brought to perfection. He is in the process of transitioning from a youth to a mature, adult player. I am satisfied with this development”.
Esmir Bajraktarević (20) spent the entire 90 minutes of the last two PSV games on the field, and lately he has been getting more minutes.
“Now he has played two good games, but of course that is not enough. I want him to play steadily throughout the season. However, I am very satisfied that in two games of ninety minutes each he showed that he understands what I am asking of him,” said the PSV coach.
PSV is an absolutely dominant club in the Netherlands, where they have 17 points more than the second-placed Feyenoord, and in the Cup they reached the semi-finals.
Bajraktarević scored a total of five goals this season: three in the Cup and two in the championship.
