A demonstrator was shot in central Kenya on Tuesday, witnesses said, during a protest against a quarantine center for Americans exposed to Ebola, which the United States is rapidly building despite court orders in Kenya barring further work.
Two Reuters journalists, who did not witness the shooting themselves, said that the man’s body was lying motionless with a large head wound in the back of a police vehicle.
A police spokesman said he had no information about the incident.
